Elad,
The Torah does not forbid scientific research; The Torah encourages Man to actualize his full potential. Don't confuse Christian theology and church history with Judaism.

Next, you should understand that the scientific method is based on making a hypothesis that MUST be confirmed by an experiment. Otherwise the hypothesis is just a BELIEF.
Therefore, to prove evolution one would have to either recreate it or observe it.

One last point. Science cannot exist without the axiom of cause-and-effect. Therefore, G-D cannot be nature and at the same time create nature. In Judaism, G-D is above nature. This is a long discussion but let's get back into science. Science can tell us HOW the natural world works and how it is designed. It can tell us that living things are based on a DNA molecule that in turn is made up of atoms and that atoms are made of subatomic particles and so on and so on.
Science however CAN NOT tell us where the first electron or atom came from. It can not tell us WHY things are the way they are.

אני מציע לך לא לנסות לעמת את התורה מול המדע תוך שימוש בכלים מדעיים. אם ננסה ליישם אותם לתורה או לתיאולוגיה היהודית, נשליך מהר מאד לפח את הספר הארכאי הזה.

הרעיון שכל היפותזה צריכה אישור על ידי צפיה ישירה הוא שגוי. היפותזה צריכה להסביר את העולם תוך שימוש במספר קטן ככל האפשר של אקסיומות ולללא סתירות פנימיות.

האבולוציה דנה בתהליכים ממושכים מאד. לכן היא מסבירה את הנתונים בשטח, וגם חוזה חלק מהנתונים שעדיין לא נאספו.
