I spent my last day in Istanbul from 9 am until 2 pm in Aya sofia - wonderful, this greatness of Christianity but then I felt different in the blue mosque. Right when I entered to the mosque - all my sorrows where gone, I felt extreme peace with myself, the world and God, I came back to my center of gravity. The Aya sofia is Great, but the mosque is human, simple - built right in harmony with the human soul and connects it the divine presence in harmony and humility before God, brings faith and life again to one's soul. It was really magnificent - and this is the greatness of this great architecture of the Sultan who planned this magnificent building.

But the Egyptian Obelisque was beyond words - it looks like it is new modern art, new, like there was no history of 5000 years -it is simple and very mysteriously powerful, much beyond other things - it says its word as the last final strong word of some mysterious forces that are present in life now and ever. It gave me feeling of youth and hope. The emperor Theodosius knew exactly what he was doing when he brought this Obelisque to Constantinopole - this obelisque brings reborn youth and energy and optimism - there must be behind it some mysterious great magic of the universe.
